Maine State Music Theatre 2019
Assistant Technical Director
TD: Anthony Lee
Set Design of Sophisticated Ladies and Hello Dolly!: Chuck Kading
Set Design of Treasure Island and The Wizard of Oz: Robert Kovach
Shop consisted of a crew of 5 summer stock carpenters. Most rigged scenery or CNC details were engineered by me. Construction happened in the Maine State Music Theatre Scene Shop and then loaded into the Pickard Theatre (proscenium stage with 600 seats). The scenery was transported to the theatre via a "scissor lift" truck. The back door to the stage is over 15' off the ground. There was a tight changeover period, shows closed on a Sunday night, and a new show would open the following Friday, but also had Thursday previews. The season consisted of four mainstage shows and a few small productions. The season was in the summer of 2019. The season mainstage shows were: Sophisticated Ladies, Treasure Island, Hello Dolly!, and The Wizard of Oz.
